Please note that we will never disclose this information to third parties unless we are either compelled to by law, or required to in order to complete business transactions that you have initiated. We collect information from you when initiate communication on our website via the “Contact Us” page. Any data or information that we request that is not required will be specified as voluntary or optional. The following information will be collected:

•  We store the personal information of our Customers and Visitors on our servers in South Africa, but we control all such personal information. •  If you are a legal entity and not an individual, we will liaise only with your named contact or alternative contact provided by your named contact. It is your responsibility to let us know of any changes to your named contact.

Do we disclose any information to outside parties?

•  No we do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you. As long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential then you have nothing to worry about! We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

•  Our other business divisions or other companies within the group of companies to which we belong, so as to provide joint content and services. This will include customer support. This simply helps us to detect and prevent potential illegal acts and violations of our policies, and to guide decisions about their products, services and communications. Members of our corporate family will only use this information to send you marketing communications if you have requested their services.  
Law enforcement, government officials, fraud detection agencies or other third parties. This will only happen when the following occurs:  
   o   We are compelled to do so by a subpoena, court order or similar legal procedure  
   o   We need to do so to comply with any law  
   o   We believe in good faith that the disclosure of personal information is necessary to prevent physical harm or financial loss, to report suspected illegal activity, or to investigate violations of our User Agreement and/or Merchant Agreement.  
Our service providers under contract who help with parts of our business operations. This includes fraud prevention, marketing, technology services etc. However, our contracts dictate that these service providers only use your information in connection with the services they perform for us and not for their own benefit.  
Any other third parties – this will strictly only occur with your consent or direction to do so.  
If QD Cellular should sell, transfer or close its business, or undergo a merger, consolidation, change in control, transfer of substantial assets, reorganisation or liquidation, then we are entitled to transfer, sell or assign any or all information collected via the Website (including your personal information) to one or more relevant third parties, but only to be used by them in accordance with the provisions of this Privacy Policy.

Please note that our operating hours are as follows:
Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 16:00, however we are closed on Christmas & New Year’s Day.

This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our website and not to information collected offline.

Should you contact QD Cellular for information purposes, and you do receive any further communication from us, you are given the opportunity to opt-out. You will opt-out from receiving communication from QD Cellular regarding various types of communications such as sporadic alerts about exclusive discounts, special offers, sales and competitions and other marketing communications.

While we do our best to act on your preferences as soon as we can, please be aware that it may take up to 14 days for changes to your preferences concerning service emails to take effect

 

Changes to our Privacy Policy

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page, and/or update the Privacy Policy modification date below. Policy changes will apply only to information collected after the date of the change. We may amend this Policy at any time. The revised version will apply to Visitors with effect from the time we post it. However we will provide Customers with at least 30 days’ prior notice of any such revision by posting notice of the change on the Website and the revision will then apply to Customers with effect from the date indicated in such notice, provided that if you are a Customer and you are not happy with the revisions made, we suggest that you stop using the Website in any way and may request us to deactivate your Account with us.
